Karan Johar Mocks Celebrities Opting for Cosmetic Surgery : ‘Naak badalne se gandh itar nahi banti’

Famous Bollywood director Karan Johar recently shared a profound message on his Instagram Stories, targeting individuals who resort to cosmetic treatments to maintain a youthful appearance. In his extensive message, he underscored that although fillers and makeup can modify one’s outward look, they do not have the power to alter a person’s fundamental character and personality.

Karan expressed, “Fillers laga lo fulfilment nahin milti… Make up laga lo umar hai ghati nahi. Karlo jitna bhi Botox, lagoge jaise madhumakkhi ne kaat liya… Naak badalne se gandh itar nahi banti. Going under the knife se exterior badal bhi jaaye… Lekin meri jaan… Fitrat nahi badalti.”

In simpler terms, he conveyed that cosmetic enhancements may provide temporary satisfaction, but they don’t bring true fulfillment. Additionally, he praised the stellar performances of the star cast of “Crew” – Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kriti Sanon, and Tabu. The film has been enjoying significant success at the box office, grossing nearly Rs 63 crore worldwide within just three days of its release.

Sharing a poster of “Crew” featuring the talented trio, Karan lauded their performances and extended congratulations. He also acknowledged the director Rajesh Krishnan and expressed gratitude towards Ekta Kapoor, Rhea Kapoor, Tabu, Kriti Sanon, and Kareena Kapoor Khan, among others, for their contributions to the film’s success.
