BJP To Hold it’s First Meet Tomorrow Ahead Of Lok Sabha Polls

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) central election committee to hold its first meeting for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections on Thursday, according to sources.

The meeting will be chaired by BJP President JP Nadda.

According to BJP’s top sources, the party’s top leadership, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, will attend the meeting, following which the names of at least 100-120 candidates are expected to be disclosed.

PM Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, CEC members Dr. K. Laxman, Vanathi Srinivasan, BS Yeddyurappa, Sarbananda Sonowal, Iqbal Singh Lalpuria, Sudha Yadav, Bhupendra Yadav, Om Prakash Mathur, BL Santosh, and other leaders would be in attendance.

According to sources, the leaders would likely discuss seats lost by the party in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections and 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

Nadda will hold a core group committee meeting at BJP headquarters in the national capital on Wednesday evening, ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha election.

According to sources, the conference will include an important discussion about the selection of candidates for the Lok Sabha elections. Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP President JP Nadda, BL Santosh, state officials, and BJP chief ministers, among others, will attend the meeting.

According to sources, the meeting would be attended by the chief ministers of Uttarakhand, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Assam, as well as office bearers from Jharkhand and the other three states.

BJP has gone to great lengths to reach out to voters through conferences before the announcement of the Lok Sabha election dates.

Determined to win the highest number of seats in the next Lok Sabha elections, in line with PM Modi’s target of 370-plus for the party and ‘400 paar’ (beyond 400) for the NDA, the BJP has set its sights on ‘GYAN’ to bring home the necessary electoral harvest.

PM Modi coined the word ‘GYAN’ himself, which stands for ‘Garib’ (poor), Yuva (youth), Annadata (farmers), and Nari (women).

On how the party intends to continue its outreach towards ‘GYAN’, a top BJP source told ANI on Thursday that the party is focusing on the empowerment of all four sections of the country’s population.

Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and BJP national president JP Nadda will hit the ground running and campaign vigorously to reach out to these four groups.
