The impact of an active western disturbance in the state has led to the formation of a well-marked circulation over the Pakistan region on Monday. This system is causing relatively strong surface winds (30-40 km/h) in some parts of Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions, along with the possibility of scattered rainfall in the northern regions on February 20, accompanied by thunderstorm activity. There is also a chance of hailstorms at one or two places in the Bharatpur division during this period, while the rest of the regions are expected to remain mainly dry. On February 21, most parts of the state are likely to experience dry weather, with only a slight chance of light rain in the Bharatpur division. Subsequently, the weather is expected to remain mainly dry for the next 3-4 days. The impact of clouds and intense sunlight is causing a rise in both day and night temperatures in the state’s cities. On Monday, the daytime temperature in 19 cities exceeded 30 degrees. Apart from Alwar and Karauli, the nighttime temperature in the rest of the cities was recorded above 10 degrees.
