No appeasement by govt asserts CM in assembly

Bhajan Lal Sharma, a first-time MLA and Chief Minister, gave his first speech in the Assembly in such a way that the opposition could not create a ruckus. While revealing the raw secrets of the previous Congress government, he also answered the questions of all the MLAs who spoke during the Governor’s address.

In fact, on behalf of the ruling party, the Chief Minister presented a reply in the House on the Governor’s address. Due to many slips of the tongue in his speeches, the opposition felt that the CM would make a mistake if he spoke in the Assembly for the first time. But, the CM presented a befitting reply and expressed his views on every issue.
He cornered the Congress in the very beginning and said that this state would be run by the Constitution and law and not by appeasement.

He also took a dig at the statement of the Congress MLAs on the slip government and said, “In the previous government, no work was done without service, without water and expenditure. Prepaid service was started. Bring this much and the work will be done. Without service, no work was done. It was a government of expenditure. In the opposition’s statement about the government’s slip, he said that this government has neither slipped nor spent. This government belongs to the earth and its sons.”
Earlier he said, “The Governor has laid out the road map of our government through his address. I also want to thank the people of Rajasthan who have allowed us to serve by giving a majority to our government.” He also expressed his gratitude to the people of Sanganer.

CM Bhajan Lal raised the glory of Lord Ram
In the beginning of his reply, CM praised the glory of Lord Ram. Paying tribute to Mahatma Gandhi on Martyr’s Day, he said, “Mahatma Gandhi was a devotee of Ram. His hymn was Ghupati Raghav Raja Ram aur Payoji Maine Ram Ratan Dhan Payo….Ramrajya was Gandhiji’s dream. Constitution maker Bhimrao Ambedkar also depicted Lord Ram, Mother Sita and Laxman ji in the Constitution. This dream has come true after centuries of struggle and sacrifice of Ram devotees. 500 years of history condensed into 84 seconds.”
At the same time, the CM said, “The members of the opposition are also looking at the consecration of Shri Ram’s temple through a political lens. Those who had rejected Ram and Ram Setu as imaginary, have also been rejected by the public. In the coming elections, the public will completely reject them.”

State was number one in crime against women during Gehlot rule: CM
CM Bhajan Lal said, “Rajasthan is the land of Mirabai, it is the land of Panna Dai and it is the land of Mata Amrita Devi. The state was known for its respect for women. That state had to be embarrassed by the worrying figures of crime against women. Under the Gehlot government, Rajasthan stood first in the country in crime against women. The sad thing is that when the government’s attention was drawn to this, the chief shamed them by saying that most of the cases of rape of women are false. This boosted the morale of the criminals. This is what senior ministers of the Congress government say in the House – Rajasthan is a state of men. That the chief did not hear these things is a matter of greatest shame. Whenever Congress government came to power in the state, rapes and crimes against women have increased.” The Chief Minister mentioned the Bhanwari Devi incident and said, “Our government is taking a pledge to protect women.”

There is difference between proclaiming and practising rule of law: Bhajan Lal
The Chief Minister said, “There is a significant difference between proclaiming and practising the rule of law. I still remember the Karauli incident when the procession was attacked. What happened to Kanhaiyalal in Udaipur hurt the image of the state in the whole world. After the murder of a young man in Jaipur, an attempt was made to vitiate the atmosphere by giving it a communal colour. If the decision is taken based on appeasement, the law and the Constitution become dwarfs. No cognizance was taken on many major incidents.”

There were attacks on police in previous govt: CM
CM Bhajan Lal said, “During the Gehlot government, the morale of gangsters was so high that they started their racket from jail itself. They would go anywhere in the state after beating or threatening anyone. In the previous government, the mining mafia was so strong that the police were attacked every day. During his time, police officers used to beat him, the police used to come back after beating him again and again. The police were helpless because the land mafia there had a nexus with the government. Our resolve is that we will not spare those who commit corruption and action will also be taken against those who make recommendations.”

Opposition did not like me becoming CM: Bhajan Lal
The Chief Minister said, “I am a person from such a small family in the village and my life was spent in poverty. Perhaps the opposition did not like my becoming the Chief Minister. But this is the Bharatiya Janata Party that before I became the Chief Minister or after becoming the Chief Minister, no one from the booth president to the national president gave any kind of statement. This is the internal democracy of our party.” CM exposed the previous government on the paper leak. He said, “The incidents of paper leak had tarnished the state in the entire country. The youth of the state capable to face and conquer the world has to face the consequences of paper leak in its own state.”
