What’s the background to this controversy?

On social media, YouTuber Sandeep Maheshwari posted a video titled “Big Scam Exposed” a while back. In this, he made the accusation that Vivek Bindra was teaching a course akin to multilevel marketing. Students were allegedly conned out of a substantial sum of money in order to teach them “business” in this purported fraud. This was reported as an approximate ₹ 500 crore scam. On his YouTube channel, Bindra, however, addressed this accusation. Declaring that he had done nothing wrong, he confronted Maheshwari.
