Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath Honors Chaudhary Charan Singh on Birth Anniversary, Gifts Tractors to Farmers

In a remarkable initiative, 93 farmers were chosen through a series of lucky draws for the complimentary distribution of tractors across the state. On this auspicious day, 51 fortunate farmers received the keys to their tractors directly from Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Adding to the commemoration, CM Yogi is slated to unveil a towering 51-foot statue of Chaudhary Charan Singh in Moradabad’s Bilari Assembly. The unveiling will be accompanied by a conference aimed at honouring and acknowledging the contributions of farmers to the state’s prosperity.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the monumental statue, Mohammad Faheem Irfan, SP leader and MLA of the Bilari Assembly, extended a warm welcome to the Chief Minister. He remarked, “It’s a moment of pride for us as a 50-foot-tall statue is being erected here. We eagerly anticipate new announcements from the Chief Minister, and we hope the constituency will receive valuable gifts.”

Chaudhary Charan Singh, the fifth Prime Minister of India from July 1979 to January 1980, was also a two-time Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and held a ministerial position in Morarji Desai’s cabinet.

The day’s events not only pay homage to a significant political figure but also highlight the government’s commitment to supporting the agricultural community through innovative schemes like the ‘Krishak Uphar Yojana.’
