Sukhu govt is zero in terms of development: Jai Ram Thakur

The Former Chief Minister and opposition leader Jairam Thakur said that the Congress government in the state is setting a record for borrowing every day, and the news of borrowing by the Sukhu government comes to light every day, but there is no talk of development by the government.
He said, “The Sukhu government has completely stalled the pace of development in the state. The government should tell what it is doing with the loans taken every day. The 13th month of this government has started, and the Sukhu government has borrowed 13,200 crore rupees. Even after borrowing more than a thousand crore rupees every month, this government is zero in terms of development. Now, the people of the state are asking how this can happen.”
Jai Ram Thakur said that those who used to make noise and uproar about borrowing in our government are now taking loans without thinking when they have the opportunity to form a government by lying.
He added, “This government has ruined the state’s financial condition through its financial mismanagement. Today, due to the mismanagement of the government, all development works in the state have come to a standstill. The projects that were ongoing in our government, for which the budget provision was also made, are now stalled. The money given to municipal corporations and municipal bodies is also being demanded back by the government. No one has seen such a government till now, which promises to give and, after coming to power, is taking away every work.”
The former chief minister said, “In the current disaster, under the direction of the Prime Minister, the central government has helped Himachal with an open heart. After Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu became the Chief Minister, the Center has provided economic assistance of 3,378 crore rupees. During the monsoon season, the Center has sent more than 1,500 crore rupees to Himachal Pradesh so far. This amount is separate from the social welfare schemes being run in Himachal by the Center. In addition, the Center is working on projects worth thousands of crores in Himachal Pradesh.”
