Samba police cracks jewellery theft case, arrests three suspects

In a significant achievement, the Samba Police have successfully solved a jewellery theft case, leading to the arrest of three individuals and the recovery of stolen gold and silver ornaments.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Devinder Singh, a resident of Rakh Amb Talli, Samba; Hardeep Singh Jamwal from Mandi Kotli, Samba; and Rakesh Kumar Verma from Samba.
The breakthrough came after a written complaint was filed by Rinku Kumar Dixit, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, currently staying at Rakh Amb Talli. The Police registered a theft case (FIR No. 281/2023) under sections 454/380 IPC at Police Station Samba through Police Post Rakh Amb Talli. The investigation was initiated promptly.
The investigative process incorporated professional methodologies, including the application of scientific aids by SHO PS Samba Daljit Singh and Chowki Officer PP Rakh Amb Talli Sohail Munir, under the supervision of DySP Hqrs Samba Bisham Dubey and Additional SP Samba Surinder Choudhary. Senior Superintendent of Police Samba, Benam Tosh, lauded the efforts of the Samba Police, stating that a total of 150 thieves have been arrested, and 75 theft cases have been successfully resolved in the past ten months. The stolen property, including gold and silver ornaments, as well as cash, worth lakhs of rupees, has been recovered as a result of these operations.
