Sidharth Malhotra Marks Six Thrilling Years of ‘Ittefaq’ – A Murder Mystery

Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra celebrated the sixth anniversary of his engaging murder mystery film, ‘Ittefaq,’ by sharing a clip from the film on his Instagram story and exclaiming, “6 years of ‘Ittefaq”.

Ittefaq, a remake of the 1979 film of the same name starring Rajesh Khanna, was directed by Abhay Chopra, the grandson of the original film’s producer, BR Chopra. The plot revolves around a double murder investigation in which the only witnesses, prime suspects Vikram (Sidharth Malhotra), an acclaimed writer, and Maya (Sonakshi Sinha), a young homemaker, offer contradictory accounts of the fateful night.

Released on November 3, 2017, ‘Ittefaq’ also stars Akshaye Khanna as the investigating police officer. Notably, the film was co-produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar.

Regarding Sidharth Malhotra’s upcoming projects, the release date of his upcoming film “Yodha,” starring Rashii Khanna and Disha Patani, has been rescheduled to December 8. Malhotra expressed his excitement for the film, saying, “As an artist, you would want to work on scripts that bring out the best in you.” He is looking forward to showcasing what ‘Yodha’ has to offer after receiving praise from fans for his previous work.

Additionally, Sidharth Malhotra is poised to make his digital debut in the web series ‘Indian Police Force,’ helmed by Rohit Shetty. The series, featuring Vivek Oberoi and Shilpa Shetty in pivotal roles, is set to stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.

As the actor celebrates the sixth anniversary of ‘Ittefaq,’ his upcoming ventures in both film and digital platforms promise a diverse and compelling array of roles for his audience to look forward to.
