Director-producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra has unveiled a motion poster for his upcoming film ‘12th Fail,’ featuring Vikrant Massey, and has also disclosed the trailer’s release date. Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s production company shared this exciting motion poster on their Instagram account.
Alongside the motion poster launch, the creators revealed that the film’s trailer is set to be released on 3rd October. ‘12th Fail’ is adapted from Anurag Pathak’s best-selling novel, portraying the remarkable journey of IPS officer Manoj Kumar Sharma and IRS officer Shraddha Joshi. The movie draws inspiration from countless real-life stories of students striving to conquer the world’s most challenging competitive examination – UPSC.
Recently, Vikrant shared insights into his preparation for the role, highlighting the unique challenges it presented compared to his previous work. He expressed his dedication to delivering his best performance for this character. Vikrant explained, “I did visit Mukherjee Nagar and other nearby areas. I even went incognito and mingled with the locals there. It wasn’t just about immersing myself in these locations and observing the students from a distance; a significant part of my preparation also centered on mastering the Chambal dialect with precision.”
He went on to mention, “I had also aimed to reside in the apartments where the students typically stay during their preparation months, but unfortunately, that couldn’t materialize. Nonetheless, having real students alongside us was an incredible experience.
