For some, home is where the heart is…..for me home is where my mom is

They say home is where the heart is but for me “Home is where my MOM is “ The bond between a mother and a child is the only real and purest bond in the world, the only true love we can ever find in our lifetime. She is your first friend, your best friend and your forever friend. There can be no love like a mother’s. She is the one we run to when we get hurt, get shouted and scolded by elders and she is the one who shields us from all dangers and teaches us to be good human beings.

Many a time we tend to take our mom for granted, defy her, go against her wishes etc, feel she is our enemy …without realizing we tend to ignore her, hurt her…not realizing that she always has our best interests in her heart. Her love for us is a bond of love, compassion, caring and understanding not a bond of selfishness or enmity…A mother’s love is a bond that starts from the womb itself and is never ending. She is the epitome of love…Even after we lose her physically it continues spiritually and she is the sun in mornings to brighten our days, clouds in afternoon sheltering us, and star at night guiding us through life. No matter how old we are, we will always remain her children, precious gems, loved n cherished forever.
They say you never really lose a parent because in death, their spirit, trapped in a frail body is set free and surrounds you like the air you breathe; we feel their presence always in the warmth of the sun, the cool breeze caressing us and, in the stars, watching over us as we sleep at night. She is the ladder you climb to reach the top and the pedestal you reach holding her hands.
Remember “Mother’s hold their children’s hand for a short while but their hearts forever”
