BJP appoints new state chiefs for Bihar, Odisha, Rajasthan, and Delhi

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president JP Nadda appointed new state chiefs for Bihar, Odisha, Rajasthan, and Delhi on Thursday. Member of the Bihar Legislative Council, Samrat Chowdhary, has been appointed as the new state president of Bihar.

CP Joshi, a Chittorgarh-based Lok Sabha member, has been chosen to succeed Satish Punia as the BJP’s state head in Rajasthan. The significant reorganization is thought to be the party’s planning for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections as well as the upcoming Rajasthan legislative assembly election, which is expected to take place in or before December 2023.

The BJP high command has now named Virender Sachdeva as the full-time state president of Delhi, taking over from the working state president in Delhi who he had been overseeing up until this point. Additionally, the BJP has also announced the appointment of new state leaders in Odisha.

Virender Sachdeva, who was until now holding responsibility for the working state president in Delhi, has now been appointed by the BJP high command as the full-time state president of Delhi. The BJP has also announced the appointment of new state leaders in Odisha.

Former State Revenue Minister Manmohal Samal has been appointed as the party’s new state president in Odisha.

The new state chiefs will be responsible for strengthening the party’s presence in their respective states and leading the party to victory in the upcoming elections.
