Here’s what Natural star Nani has to say about Indian Cinema

Ram Charan and Jr NTR’s Naatu Naatu song has the world dancing to its beats. Amid this, the Natural star Nani has shared his perspective on Indian Cinema. He says Indian cinema is in its “golden phase” now, and the glory for the RRR (2022) track and the documentary The Elephant Whisperers have helped command all the more respect.

The actor says, “This is a golden period for Indian cinema. Music and dance have begun our strength. Now, the world has recognised it.” Further, he adds “I’m sure global players will want to collaborate with Indian makers like SS Rajamouli sir.”

The Hindi film versus southern language films debate was a range on social media. But, the actor feels it was a mountain out of a molehill. Nani also spilled beans on the success and failure mantra. He is also keen on exploring Bollywood. The Jersey actor says “I have got offers from Hindi film industry before too, but things didn’t fall in place. I have grown up watching and loving Hindi films in cinema and TV. I must have watched DDLJ some 30-40 times. So, if I like a script I will surely do it but there should be a reason do it and for that matter it can be any language….”

According to Nani, the ongoing debate between Indian and regional cinema has been a mountain out of a molehill. On the work front, the actor is currently gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated project Dasara this month. The film also marks his onscreen reunion with the National award-winning actress Keerthy Suresh. Earlier, the duo was seen in the 2017 release Nenu Local.
