Huge investment in infrastructure to generate employment: PM Modi

According to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, his administration is actively investing in infrastructure in Uttarakhand to improve living conditions for residents of remote areas and to create a variety of job opportunities. On Monday, the “Rozgar Mela” for Uttarakhand was virtually inaugurated, and Prime Minister Modi made the comment. Jobs are becoming more available for everyone, whether they work in engineering, construction, or small firms that deal in raw materials. “Youth (in Uttarakhand) are finding new work prospects due to an increase in demand in the transportation sector,” PM Modi stated. Regarding the migration of people from Uttarakhand to urban areas, he claimed that better road and internet connectivity in the hill state will offer them work options in their own locality, especially in the domestic tourist sector. He also said that the old perception that “pahad ka paani aur pahad ki jawani pahad ke kaam nahi aati” needs to be changed. There have been continuous efforts by the government to send back youth to their villages while providing them with better employment avenues, he added.

To further spur job growth the government is heavily investing in the infrastructure sector in Uttarakhand to make life easier for people living in far-flung areas. The Rozgar Mela is a virtual inauguration ceremony for new government employees in Uttarakhand and is a testament to the increased focus of the government on creating more jobs. Prime Minister Narendra Modi also pointed out the need for teachers to play a big role in preparing students for the new century according to the new education policy. He emphasized the need for teachers to be the medium for big change.
