Human beings live in illusion and call it life. They live life as if they are in slumber, neither fully awake nor aware.

Most of us go through the business of living without being awakened to the consciousness that connects us to our own spiritual identity and to the divine. We live a very delusional life chasing worldly material wealth, possessions, becoming successful, wearing badges of achievements of our careers, acquiring money, power and elevating our status but this chase never ends. Until one fine day, this otherwise smooth ride of life is hit by a misfortune and one is forced to halt abruptly. We are compelled to take a pause and think…why this happened to us? Despite all best efforts put forth and meticulous planning, doing all the things right by the book of people who succeeded before us, the things get twisted in an unexpected way. We escape certain people, things, situations but we keep falling in the same trap of disappointments, regrets, shame, guilt, failure and life appears to be like a dense web of trials and tribulations. It’s precisely at that point in life, for many of us the quest begins, and we embark on the journey to discover who we are. The search is to know some answers and to make sense of everything that is happening to us. Why are we here? What is the purpose of this life? Is there someone deciding our life patterns or is it us? But what’s mystic is when one seeks answers, sources emerge to provide insight. Deluded mind starts to look at the clear reflection of the truth. Suzy Singh’s book 7 Karma Code: Heal the Storm Within, is one such gem that definitely fills the gap with the gen we are seeking to explore in the realms of spirituality, while we are facing existential crisis, emotional turmoil or financial misfortunes.

Suzy Singh has done an extraordinary work in weaving these conversations around, why we are ignorant beings and what we need to understand to transform into aware beings. Most importantly that we must take responsibility of who we are, and for our own words, actions, deeds, beliefs, our instant and inherent reactions and responses to things and people. Everything we feel and we make others feel, shape our personalities and our life in totality. How we are creating our destinies every moment, and how we have the power to alter our immediate reality and create the destiny of our choice. We become victims of our decisions and choices made in life and blame it on the karma. Karma doesn’t bring reward or punishment, since karma is no judge. The intentions behind the actions, words and thoughts, create the spiral of causes and effect. If the consequences of my past action have created my present reality, then only by consciously making causes in the present can I alter the consequences I will encounter in future. Past we can’t undo, but future can be shaped with consciously making good causes to reap good effects.

What’s interesting is that the book 7 Karma Codes, is not a preachy code of lectures, instead it is a dialogue that takes place between a mother and her little daughter. Personally for me at so many instances it appeared like my inner curious child is having a dialogue with my own higher self, and this inner child is not only seeking refuge in the wisdom the book holds, but as if I’m re-learning the lessons learned through past existence to this present life time.

The author not only engages the curious readers into the intriguing world of Karma, however they may rightly or wrongly be perceiving it, she goes a step further with her writing and give prompts to the readers to evaluate their own self, ask some straight forward but tough questions about their lives, their relationships, the choices they make, the emotions they experience. How they respond to people and how with their acts done, words spoken and with their thoughts, how they are impacting and making their own environment into their living hell or heaven.

Suzy Singh who takes on different roles and has extensive experience as a Transpersonal Therapist, Karma Coach, Relationship Counsellor, Healer and Spiritual Teacher. She has devoted a considerable time in researching and specialising in areas of how vibrational healing and energy medicine can help decoding the subconscious mind and how we our subconscious is so invisibly interconnected with our conscious.
She explores and dives into the reservoirs of philosophy, scriptures and various spiritual practices and weaves a rich tapestry of the enlightenments as to how one can become the master of his own life, how one can build his relationship with the divine within and without, and why it is important to acknowledge the wounds we carry and then take responsibility towards healing our self and others, and most importantly how one’s own faith is central to his awakening.

The book is like a mirror that reflects all that is tainted in our lives and that needs to be polished with faith, compassion, wisdom, courage, purpose, love, peace, joy and contentment. It provides a greater understanding and contemplation that is required to fully comprehend what the soul yearns for, and we all at some point in time need to begin our journey within. The author unveils and deciphers the lessons of to be learned in forgiveness, in letting go, in becoming more generous at heart, in becoming non-judgemental, practising detachment, handling fear and anxiety caused by any trauma we have inherited from past lives or in this present life, and most essentially learn to accept and surrender, for if we don’t learn these lessons, we will be viciously repeating and activating the same pattern again.  There is no escape from the karma, good or bad, because we have created them, and it is only us who have the power to spearhead karmic retribution and expiation of our own karma.

Life is undoubtedly a journey with no end, only new beginnings. Every day is a learning experience, and every moment is an awakening. All we need to do is make conscious choices. If you are already on the path to discover, unravel, untangle whatever that is holding you back from being in synch with your higher self, your divine energy, your Buddhahood, or if you are yet to start on the quest to know who you are, how to make sense of your existence and to comprehend how do you fit into the grand scheme of things of this universe, Suzy Singh’s book 7 Karma Code: Heal the Storm Within, will be your true companion, your guide and your friend.

This book is my new found treasure and I will be turning the pages filled with words of wisdom, compassionate advice and courageous determination to silence my ego mind and listen to the voice of my soul.
Thank you, Suzy Singh for writing this beautiful book.
