The Jammu and Kashmir police have detained 67 individuals for questioning in connection with the killing of a government employee in Shahadra area of Rajouri district, officials announced on Wednesday.
According to a police spokesman, the incident involving the firing and subsequent death of Mohd Razaq, a government employee, in Kunda Shahdra area of Rajouri has prompted swift action from authorities. A case under relevant legal provisions has been registered at PS Thanamandi, and investigations are currently underway.
In a significant development, investigators have reportedly made progress in identifying one of the attackers. The individual, identified as a foreign terrorist using the code name ‘Abu Hamza’, has been linked to the incident. A photograph of this individual has been shared to aid in the ongoing investigation.

“As investigations continue, 67 individuals have been detained for questioning in connection with this incident,” the police spokesman stated.
