The Jammu and Kashmir police have detained 67 individuals for questioning in connection with the killing of a government employee in Shahadra area of Rajouri district, officials announced on Wednesday.

According to a police spokesman, the incident involving the firing and subsequent death of Mohd Razaq, a government employee, in Kunda Shahdra area of Rajouri has prompted swift action from authorities. A case under relevant legal provisions has been registered at PS Thanamandi, and investigations are currently underway.

In a significant development, investigators have reportedly made progress in identifying one of the attackers. The individual, identified as a foreign terrorist using the code name ‘Abu Hamza’, has been linked to the incident.
