Opened in 1876, the Indian Coffee House on College Street, Kolkata, is a revered institution. Originally named Albert Hall, it became the Indian Coffee House in 1942. 2. Mavalli Tiffin Room (MTR), Bangalore

Since its establishment in 1924, MTR has been synonymous with South Indian cuisine.
