To meet the shortage of blood in the hospitals of Tricity, Vishvas Foundation, with the blessings of Gurudev Shri Swami Vishvas Ji, organised a blood donation camp at Mata Mansa Devi Complex in collaboration with Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board and Indian Red Cross Society District Branch, Panchkula.

Before taking blood, the team of doctors checked up the blood donors, the doctors said that there is no problem of any kind in donating blood. Rather, donating blood makes a person feel proud.

Vishvas Foundation President Sadhvi Neelima Vishvas said that the team of Blood Bank Civil Hospital Sector 6 Panchkula collected 48 units of blood under the supervision of Dr. Amit Sammi. A total of 54 devotees registered to donate blood, 6 were refused to donate blood by the doctors due to health-related problems.

Sadhvi Neelima Vishvas said that people have this misconception that donating blood causes weakness in the body. Donating blood does not cause any weakness, rather everyone must donate blood once in 90 days. This helps the needy and also keeps the body healthy. A noble act like donating blood is of greatest service. Blood is the only substance that cannot be manufactured in a factory. Our organization strives to ensure that there is no shortage of blood.

All the blood donors who came to the blood donation camp were encouraged by giving appreciation letters and gifts. On this occasion, Shamsunder Sahni, Mulakhraj Manocha, Satya Bhushan Khurana, Veena Rani, Gurmail Kaur and other dignitaries from Vishvas Foundation were present.
