36 PLA aircraft, 3 PLAN vessels detected around Taiwan

Taiwan on Saturday detected 36 China’s People’s Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft and three People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) vessels around the island’s surrounding region.
Taiwan’s Armed Forces monitored the situation and responded to these activities with aircraft in CAP, naval vessels, and land-based missile systems.
“21 of the detected aircraft (J-104, J-116, J-164, CH-4 UCAV RECCE, BZK-005 UAV RECCE, BZK-007 UAV RECCE, Y-8 ASW and H-63) had flown on the east part of the median line of the Taiwan Strait and our SW ADIZ, flight paths as illustrated,” tweeted defence ministry of Taiwan.. The incursions come amid Chinese President Xi Jinping calls that Beijing will strengthen military training and prepare for any war as the nation’s “security is increasingly unstable and uncertain.”
“The entire military should devote all its energy to and carry out all its work for combat readiness, enhance its capability to fight and win,” Xi said.
“Xi instructed the armed forces to thoroughly study, publicize and implement the guiding principles of the 20th CPC National Congress and take concrete actions to further modernize national defence and the military,” the report continued.
The Chinese leader “also instructed them to resolutely safeguard national sovereignty, security and development interests, and successfully complete various tasks entrusted by the Party and the people,” reports said.
Meanwhile, Taiwan President fears a ‘potential threat’ of invasion by China, amid repeated indications by Beijing in that direction,
