At a ceremony honoring deserving Class 12 and 10 students on Friday, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu presented awards to 260 of them. He also made a 5,000 rupee gift announcement for each of these deserving pupils. The ceremony to honor deserving college students was presided over by the chief minister, Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu, according to a daily newspaper.

Sukhvinder Sukhu, CM, stated, “The state government is working to implement significant improvements in the educational sector. To prepare the children in rural areas for the challenges they will encounter in the future, Rajiv Gandhi Day-Boarding Schools are being opened in all of the state’s assembly districts gradually. I went to a government school, and I learned that self-assurance and strong determination are the only ways to succeed in life.”

He claimed that in order to give pupils better work chances, the state government has begun new courses including artificial intelligence, data science, and robotic engineering. Additionally, 6,000 instructors will be hired by November of this year to help with the teacher shortfall in government schools.

The Himachal Pradesh chief minister further mentioned that one of the causes of the estimated 12–15,000 crore losses during the rainy season in the state is climate change.
