PGA Tour unveiled its 2024 schedule, including the regular season and FedExCup Playoff dates. The 2024 FedExCup season will feature eight signature events interconnected to deliver maximum drama like never before.
It marks a return to the calendar year schedule last seen in 2012. PGA Tour also announced it will release the Fall portion of the season and finalize the top 125 for the 2025 FedExCup season later.
The 2024 Tour Championship opening drive will kick off at The Sentry and Sony Open in Hawaii. All players start with zero FedExCup points and will look for a strong start in the race for ultimate glory, the FedExCup.
The opening drive features 36 events and will get the regular season underway. Once again, the PGA Tour has chosen the Wyndham Championship as the culmination of the regular season. Only 70 players will advance to the playoffs and compete for the FedExCup.
Here’s what’s included in the regular season:
. THE PLAYERS Championship (50th edition)
. Four Major Championships
. Eight Signature Events (Designate Events)
. 18 Full-Field Events
. Five Additional Events
While events start at The Sentry, fans, and players will have their eyes on the playoffs and son-to-be-announced FedExCup Fall. The opening week will feature players taking on each other as new stars emerge alongside the usual drama.
Punters are also excited about the coming season and will be looking toward leading bookmakers like Bet99 Sport to wager on their favorite markets. Hot futures include backing PGA Tour winners, playoff makers, and the FedExCup winner.
PGA TOUR Commissioner Jay Monahan said the new cadence will create “consistent excitement” for fans and reward the stars and players. The commissioner also thanked the Player Directors and Player Advisory Council for setting up an “exciting 2024 season.”
The 2024 PGA Tour Championship will feature many events, including a reimagined AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Signature Event. This event takes place at the Spyglass Hill Golf Course and Pebble Beach Golf Links and will see amateurs play alongside pros for the first two rounds.
The final two events are for pros only and take place at the Pebble Beach Golf Links. PGA Tour also increased Signature Events prize money and FedExCup points (winner gets 700 points). Here’s a look at all the dates of the eight Signature Events in the 2024 season:
