During the second phase of the Lok Sabha elections, Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa exercised his franchise at a polling booth in Rajarajeshwari Nagar, Bengaluru. Dressed casually, he arrived at his assigned polling station in Bengaluru to cast his vote and get his finger inked.
In the second phase of the Lok Sabha polls, fourteen seats in Karnataka were up for voting. The polling for this phase, covering 88 seats across 13 states and Union Territories (UTs), concluded at 6 pm.
The initial phase of voting for the seven-phased general elections took place on April 19, covering 102 constituencies across 21 states and UTs. The Election Commission reported a voter turnout exceeding 62 percent during this phase. The upcoming third phase of the elections is scheduled for May 7.
