The first Khelo India Para Games 2023 is taking place in New Delhi. It started on 10th December and will end on 17th December 2023. Roughly thirteen hundred fifty athletes from thirty-six states and union territories are competing in the tournament. Athletes are representing seven different sports: para-archery, para-athletics, para badminton, para table tennis, para powerlifting, para football, and para shooting.
Khelo India Para Games 2023 schedule
The purpose of the games is to raise awareness of para-athletes and provide them a stage on a national scale to display their abilities. In terms of athlete experience, technical conduct, and overall execution, the event is anticipated to be comparable to previous Khelo India tournaments. The Khelo India Para Games are being held by the national government with the intention of empowering all Para athletes. For the benefit of those with physical disabilities, the government has launched several important initiatives. Three locations—Indira Gandhi Stadium, Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, and Karni Singh Shooting Range—are hosting the first-ever Khelo India Para Games. DD Sports is the official broadcaster of the Khelo India Para Games 2023. The event will be telecast live from 10th to 17th December on the channel.
