On Tuesday, the Royal Malaysian Navy reported that ten persons lost their lives after two helicopters collided during practice for a naval display.

The deadly crash occurred at 9:32 a.m. local time (0132 GMT) on Tuesday at the Lumut naval base, located in Perak, a state in western Malaysia.

“All victims were confirmed dead at the scene and sent to the Lumut army base hospital for identification,” the navy stated in their statement.
