A state government official said that President Ram Nath Kovind will be on a four-day visit to Himachal Pradesh from Thursday, and during his visit he will address a special session of the Himachal Pradesh Assembly and will be chief guest at the Valedictory Ceremony of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service at the National Academy of Audit and Accounts at Shimla.
President Ram Nath Kovind will address the Himachal Assembly at 11 am on September 17. 93 MLAs and 11 MPs will be the part of this history historic event in Himachal Pradesh. RTPCR test will be done for 96 employees of the assembly who may come in contact with the President, and every best possible steps are being taken during this visit in view of following the Covid-19 protocols
Himachal Pradesh is celebrating the 50th anniversary of Savarna Jayanti. Himachal got full statehood on 25 January 1971. On the completion of 50 years of Himachal, President Ram Nath Kovind will address a special house in the Himachal Vidhan Sabha on September 17.
