President Donald Trump officially rolled out the Gold Card visa system on Wednesday, a fast-track option intended to allow preeminent American companies to secure US residency for their valuable foreign employees via a fee.
Trump compared the new program to a Green Card with major benefits, telling executives that the new website was minutes away from accepting applications, where the payment for an individual would be $1 million and for a company to retain talent would be $2 million.
What is Gold Card?
The Gold Card is a new US visa pathway based on an applicant’s ability to deliver substantial benefit to the United States. It comes with a $15,000 processing fee and a $1 million gift after vetting. Successful applicants receive lawful permanent residence under an EB-1 or EB-2 classification.

It allows individuals to spend up to 270 days a year in the US without paying tax on foreign income.

Yes. Spouses and unmarried children under 21 may be added to the application. Each requires an additional $15,000 processing fee and $1 million gift.
