On the Kabul Bombing Anniversary, US President Donald Trump honoured the fallen while criticizing Joe Biden’s way of handling the withdrawal. During the 2021 Afghanistan withdrawal, Kabul airport was targeted with a bombing, which claimed the lives of 13 American service members.

Trump was accompanied by 35 relatives of the Americans who were killed, one wearing a ‘Make America Great Again’ cap. Trump called the day ‘the dumbest in history’. He stated that it was the ‘most embarrassing day’ to ever exist in the country.
