US President Donald Trump’s death rumours were put to a rest on Saturday after he was photographed playing golf at his Virginia club. Trump was dressed in a white polo shirt, red MAGA hat, and black pants and was visibly relaxed. He spent some time with his granddaughter, Kai Trump, before leaving the White House grounds.
Social media spiralled with rumours when Trump disappeared for three days. Hashtags such as #whereistrump, ‘Trump is dead’, and ‘Trump Died’ were trending on X across the United States. As per the analytical reports, there were approximately 158,000 posts claiming that ‘Trump is Dead’ and around 42,000 stating ‘Trump Died’.

Adding to the frenzy was an interview given by Vice President JD Vance on August 27. Asked if he was prepared to step in as president in case of tragedy, Vance said Trump, 79, was “in good shape” and remained highly active. He added, “Yes, terrible tragedies happen. But I feel very confident the president of the United States is in good shape, is going to serve out the remainder of his term and do great things for the American people.”
White House reporters also confirmed Trump’s movements. According to the press pool, he left the White House early Saturday in his motorcade before heading to the golf course.

Daily Caller correspondent Reagan Reese said on X, while dismissing the rumours, “I wake up to see people freaking out that Trump’s sick or dead or something because he hasn’t been seen in a few days. I was with the president yesterday afternoon. I interviewed him for an hour.”
Trump last made a public appearance on August 26 during a televised cabinet meeting. Previously, he was spotted at the Virginia club golfing with former MLB star Roger Clemens.
