Following a state dinner at the White House, US President Donald Trump shared an AI-generated video of himself playing football with Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo, calling the athlete a great guy.
The digitally created clip, which was posted on the President’s official social media account, quickly captured the internet’s attention for its humorous and somewhat exaggerated nature.
The short clip features a computer-generated Oval Office turned into a football pitch. President Trump is shown engaging in brief periods of dribbling practice, doing keep-ups, and heading the ball with Ronaldo.

In one sequence, the President spins dramatically on his heels to cut off the ball, which he then boots straight at the camera as Ronaldo nonchalantly juggles the ball to and fro.
The post went viral in no time, sparking a huge online reaction. To many users, the clip was highly entertaining and a very unreal and exaggerated display.

Comments poured in, and one user commented on the humor intended by the President’s actions: “The way I see Trump bending to head the ball makes it more funny.”
A second user sarcastically said, “Haters will say it’s AI,” whereas a third was left in disbelief about the source, saying, “Bro, I really thought this was a meme page. This is the president of the USA. Lol.”

This viral video followed a high-profile visit to the White House. Before President Trump shared the AI clip, Cristiano Ronaldo himself had posted a series of photos documenting the visit.
Ronaldo and his partner, Georgina Rodríguez, met the US President and First Lady Melania Trump.
In his own post, the football legend expressed appreciation for the hospitality: Ronaldo wrote, “Thank you Mr President for your invitation and for the warm welcome you and the First Lady gave me and my future wife.”
He also included a hopeful message about inspiring future generations, adding, “Each of us has something meaningful to give, and I stand ready to do my part as we inspire new generations to build a future defined by courage, responsibility and lasting peace.”
