Sulaiman and Kasim Khan, sons of former Pakistani Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, have broken their silence once again. In an emotional interview with British journalist Piers Morgan, the two publicly appealed for help from US President Donald Trump. They believe Trump could play a key role in securing their father’s release from prison. The interview revealed deep frustration with Pakistan’s ruling regime and concern for their safety if they return to the country. The two have applied for visas but say they have received no official response so far. Meanwhile, they continue to face warnings and threats of arrest if they set foot in Pakistan.
Sons Turn to Trump for Intervention
During the interview, Kasim Khan directly addressed the possibility of Trump’s involvement. “If anyone can make a difference, he can,” he said. He explained that Trump and Imran Khan shared mutual respect during their time in office. “They had great conversations,” Kasim noted, adding that they hope Trump will speak to Pakistan’s establishment.
The sons believe Trump’s voice could carry weight in Islamabad. “Of course, we would love to have a conversation with him or hope for some help or support,” Kasim said.

Visa Delays and Threats of Arrest
Kasim and Sulaiman said they applied for Pakistani visas but haven’t received any updates. Their aunt, Aleema Khan, confirmed the delay on social media. “The ambassador has intimated that he is awaiting approval from the Ministry of Interior in Islamabad,” she posted on X.

Kasim shared that government insiders and family members have warned them of potential arrest. “We were told by people in the Pakistani government that we would be arrested,” he said. “We heard similar things from inside sources and relatives.”

This is not the first time Imran Khan’s sons have voiced concern. In May, they publicly urged international attention on their father’s incarceration. But this latest appeal, involving Trump, marks a significant shift in tone — one that seeks direct foreign influence.
