Pakistan’s Army Chief Asim Munir is being trolled on social media after he compared India to a ‘shining Mercedes’ while calling his own country a ‘dump truck’ during a Florida event.
Munir used, what he called a ‘crude analogy’ to explain the dynamic between the two nations, The Print reported.
‘Mercedes vs Dump Truck’
“I am going to use a crude analogy to explain the situation,” Munir said. “India is shining Mercedes coming on a highway like Ferrari [sic], but we are a dump truck full of gravel. If the truck hits the car, who is going to be the loser?”
Munir tried to picture Pakistan as a more forceful nation, even if, it is less refined. However, the attempt backfired severely and made India look superior. The comparison quickly became a meme on social media.

Social Media Turns on Munir
The remark quickly gained momentum on social media in a negative direction. One X user wrote, “The only truth in Munir’s statement is that India is the Mercedes, and his country is the dump truck. The rest is delusion,” also referencing his earlier threats that Pakistan could plunge “half the world” into nuclear war if its existence was at risk.
Another commented, “At least they know their reality…they are dump truck and nothing else…failed marshal admitted that they are pathetic.”

Some questioned why Munir would speak negatively about his own country, with one user saying, “apne desh ki beizzati karwa raha hai.”

Munir successfully defamed Pakistan with this one comment. However, it turned Munir into a meme and let’s just say, Pakistan’s anti-PR agent. The incident teaches the world to be very careful with he words, especially when upholding an important position.
