“CRINGE”: Kamala Harris’ Motivational Speech to Students Mocked by Trump Supporters – WATCH

Vice President Kamala Harris recently faced criticism from MAGA supporters after delivering a speech to high school students at Liberty County High School in Hinesville, Georgia. During her visit with Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Harris spoke to the students about her own experience in a school band, playing instruments like the French horn, xylophone, and kettle drums. She encouraged the students by saying, “Sometimes you hit the right note, sometimes you don’t. But all the practice makes for beautiful music, and that is symbolic for everything that you all will do in your lives.”

However, some MAGA supporters mocked her speech on social media, accusing Harris of speaking down to the students. A post from the Trump War Room X account labeled her remarks as “CRINGE,” while other users criticized her tone, claiming she often talks down to people.

Here are the reactions:

Harris’ visit is part of a broader strategy by the Harris-Walz campaign to engage with voters in traditionally GOP-leaning areas and to present a more personal side of the campaign through smaller, intimate settings. Georgia, a key battleground state that narrowly went to the Democrats in the 2020 presidential election, is a focal point for this effort. Harris and Walz also visited a barbecue restaurant outside Savannah and plan to conclude their Georgia bus tour with a rally in Savannah.

Currently, polls indicate that Harris is slightly ahead of former President Donald Trump in Georgia, with a 0.2-point lead according to 538’s polling tracker and a 2-point lead in a recent Fox News poll, although the latter falls within the poll’s margin of error. Harris’ campaign aims to strengthen support in areas beyond Atlanta and its suburbs, which were instrumental in Joe Biden’s 2020 victory in the state.

Meanwhile, JD Vance, Trump’s running mate, also made a recent visit to Georgia, where he faced his own challenges, including an awkward interaction with a bakery employee who requested not to be filmed.
