Canada September producer prices up 0.8% on precious metals, energy

Oct 20 (Reuters) – Producer prices in Canada rose 0.8% in September from August on higher prices for primary non-ferrous metal products energy, as well as petroleum products, Statistics Canada said on Monday. This followed a downwardly revised 0.2% increase in August. Raw materials prices were up 1.7% in September, and were up 8.4% on the year.
