The event, hosted by YouTuber Anthony Po, drew a substantial crowd and offered a $50 prize to the best Chalamet lookalike, with thousands signing up online to attend.
Participants not only dressed like Chalamet but also answered questions reflecting his French heritage, aspirations for global change, and opinions about Kylie Jenner, rumored to be dating the actor. Ultimately, 21-year-old Miles Mitchell from Staten Island claimed the top prize, donning a Willy Wonka costume and entertaining onlookers by tossing candy from a briefcase.

The event was briefly disrupted as one impersonator was escorted away by police due to the large turnout, prompting organizers to relocate the crowd.
This surprise appearance comes on the heels of the trailer release for “A Complete Unknown”, Chalamet’s upcoming Bob Dylan biopic. Set in the 1960s, the film explores Dylan’s rise to fame and is slated to release in December in the US and in January in the UK The cast includes Edward Norton as Pete Seeger, Boyd Holbrook as Johnny Cash, and others in supporting roles.
