Madhuri made a stylish entry at Mumbai’s Jio World Convention Centre on Friday, accompanied by her family. The ‘Dhak dhak’ actor, known for her radiant smile, looked enchanting in a pastel-toned lehenga. Both she and her husband, Shriram Nene, opted for traditional attire, perfectly suited for the grand wedding ceremony.
Videos and pictures from the star-studded event quickly went viral, showcasing the vibrant celebrations. In one video, Anant and Radhika are seen surrounded by friends and family as they exchange garlands, while other images show the couple heading for their pheras.
Radhika Merchant dazzled in a heavily embroidered ivory lehenga with red and gold accents, designed by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. Her ensemble featured a trailing ghagra with a detachable trail, a 5-meter head veil, a tissue shoulder dupatta, and a fully embroidered red shoulder dupatta that added a dramatic flair to her silhouette. This outfit was a traditional interpretation of ‘Panetar,’ a Gujarati bridal tradition of wearing red and white.
Groom Anant Ambani wore a red-pink-hued sherwani, perfectly complementing Radhika’s attire.
The wedding celebration took place at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai and will be followed by ‘Shubh Aashirwad’ on July 13 and ‘Mangal Utsav’ or the wedding reception on July 14.
