A woman has been taken into custody after a shocking incident where she fired shots at a baby and his parents at close range in Philadelphia. The terrifying event, which was captured on video, led to the identification and arrest of Dominique Billips, a resident of Philadelphia.

The viral footage shows Billips approaching the family and shooting at a seven-month-old baby and his parents outside a home. As the infant’s mother screamed in fear, Billips yelled, “F—k your baby, b—h!”

During the attack, the baby, who was sitting in a stroller, was shot in the leg but survived. Authorities have confirmed that he is now in good condition, according to the New York Post.

The frightening incident occurred last week in the Holmesburg section of Philadelphia. When police arrived, the parents were not present at the scene, and the baby was taken to the hospital by a Good Samaritan. The parents were later found unharmed and admitted they fled due to having outstanding warrants.

Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small expressed relief that the baby is stable, while Lt. Dennis Rosenbaum noted that the suspect was apprehended quickly due to tips from the public.

Rosenbaum revealed that the shooting appeared to be related to a $100 narcotics debt and that the infant’s father was the intended target. Billips has been charged with aggravated assault and other related offenses and is awaiting formal arraignment.
