In a shocking incident at a gym in Mulund, Mumbai, a workout session turned violent when a gym trainer struck a client on the head with a mudgar (club). The distressing event, captured by CCTV, has led to the arrest of the trainer involved.
The attack occurred on Wednesday, as shown in the CCTV footage. The video reveals Yogesh Shinde working out with assistance from a trainer. Unexpectedly, another trainer, who had been standing away, picks up a mudgar and strikes Shinde on the head. The sudden assault causes Shinde to clutch his head in agony and sit down, while other trainers intervene to stop the attacker.
Shinde, who has filed a police complaint, reported that there was no prior altercation with the trainer. He mentioned that the gym trainer had been glaring at him before the incident. Despite Shinde’s inquiry about his exercise form, the trainer did not respond and instead launched the attack.
Following the incident, Shinde underwent an MRI scan, which revealed two fractures on the left side of his skull. The motive behind the assault remains unclear, though some reports suggest it might have been triggered by a joke Shinde made. Police are continuing their investigation into the matter.
