Viral Video: Man Climbs 20 Foot Signboard In Amethi For Fame

In today’s social media-driven world, the quest for viral fame has led some young people to engage in reckless behaviors. A recent incident in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh, highlights the lengths to which individuals will go to capture attention online. The viral footage, originating from the Jafarganj Mandi area within the Jagdishpur police station jurisdiction, shows a man perilously perched 20 feet high on a highway signboard, waving a flag. Shockingly, bystanders gathered below are seen recording the stunt instead of intervening to stop him.

This isn’t the first time Amethi has witnessed such bizarre antics. In a previous incident, a man was filmed doing pull-ups on another highway signboard, which was situated 10 meters above ground. The signboard displayed directions to Munshiganj and Amethi.

Police Response

The reckless behavior has caught the attention of local authorities. Amethi Live shared the pull-up video on their X account, stating, “Dangerous players on the roads of Amethi, a young man was seen doing pushups on the kilometre signboard, risking his life.”

In response to the viral videos, the Amethi Police have announced that they are aware of the situation and are conducting an investigation. “The matter is in the knowledge of Amethi Police Station. The viral video is being investigated, and after the investigation, necessary legal action will be taken against the persons doing the stunt as per the rules,” the police stated on X.

As the trend of filming daring stunts continues, authorities urge individuals to reconsider the risks involved and prioritize their safety over the fleeting allure of online fame.
