A woman from the US has shocked many by revealing her unconventional relationship with her partner and his gay lover. Sarah, who has been in a nine-year relationship with her partner James, recently shared on the Love Don’t Judge show that they now live together with Hunter, a gay friend who became part of their relationship.
Sarah met James in high school, and they had been a typical couple for years before Hunter entered their lives. Over time, Hunter developed romantic feelings for both Sarah and James, leading to the formation of a “throuple.” While Hunter identifies as bi-romantic—loving Sarah without a physical relationship with her—his feelings for James grew stronger as well.
Despite the initial hesitation from James, they all agreed to live as a throuple. Sarah noted, “One of my friends thought I was joking with her; she was very surprised by this,” as the three-way relationship became known publicly, facing criticism from friends and family.
On the show, Hunter expressed his affection for Sarah but clarified his romantic interest lies with men. James, in turn, thanked both for helping him grow as a person, saying, “You both have definitely helped me grow as a person and become the best version of myself.” Sarah expressed her happiness, stating, “I am very happy to know that you guys love each other and love me as much as I love you.”
James and Sarah now identify as bisexual.
