He has long been touted as Bollywood’s king of romance, and his latest stint at a wedding did more to cement this tag rather than dilute it. The superstar, who wields the magic to bring both acting and charm across to the audience, turned up as a special guest at a wedding in Delhi that left the guests aghast.
The moment he saw the bride, he gave an excellent compliment, “Aap bohot hi jyada khubsurat ho.” And also used one of the lines of his famous poem from the movie ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’: “Teri aankhon ki namkeen mastiyaan,” and it all becomes unforgettable.
The most exciting part of the celebrations was when Shah Rukh led a fun session with the bride and groom, as his song ‘Main Agar Kahoon’ from ‘Om Shanti Om’ played in the background. Guests also witnessed SRK dancing to his hits ‘Pretty Woman’ and ‘Jhoome Jo Pathaan’, with the bride joining him for ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’ and SRK dancing solo to ‘Pathaan’s’ upbeat track. The moment wrapped up with him performing ‘Gerua’ from ‘Dilwale’.
A video of this magical wedding experience was shared on Instagram where the caption read, ” @iamsrk You made my day, with the way you complimented my bride Harshita, on the way she looked, On her most special day! My hard work paid off! For the day.
