Samosa Seller Cracks NEET UG: ‘Selling Samosas Won’t Define My Future’, Watch

The Story of an Aspiring Doctor

Sunny Kumar’s daily routine was anything but ordinary. After finishing school at 2 PM, he would manage his samosa stall for several hours before diving into his studies until late at night. His dedication paid off when he scored an impressive 664 out of 720 marks in the highly competitive NEET UG 2024 exam. Despite the challenges of balancing work and studies, Sunny never lost sight of his goal to become a doctor.

In a video shared by Alakh Pandey, the humble setting of Sunny’s room was revealed, with its walls covered in study notes, a testament to his tireless effort and focus. Pandey expressed his admiration for Sunny’s achievement, highlighting the young man’s perseverance in the face of adversity.

A Passion for Medicine

Sunny’s interest in the medical field was sparked by his curiosity about how medicines work and how people are cured. “Seeing medicines sparked my interest. I wanted to understand how people get better, so I chose Biology,” he explained. His passion for medicine drove him to prepare for the NEET exam, despite the long hours spent working at his stall.

Sunny’s story is a powerful reminder that one’s current circumstances do not define their future. “Selling samosas won’t define my future,” Sunny asserted, emphasizing his determination to achieve his dreams.

Support from Physics Wallah

Sunny has been a student at Physics Wallah since the 11th grade, and his hard work did not go unnoticed. Moved by Sunny’s struggles and success, Alakh Pandey offered him a scholarship worth ₹6 lakh and promised to cover his medical college tuition fees. This support will undoubtedly help Sunny focus on his studies as he moves forward in his journey to becoming a doctor.
