A viral social media post is about a strange exchange between a man and a Swiggy customer service executive. The man posted a screenshot of the exchange on Reddit, stating that the delivery executive had ordered his food and ‘ran away’.
The Daily Guardian was unable to independently confirm the post but has contacted Swiggy for a statement, which will be appended once received.
During the exchange, the customer service representative stated that they could not contact the delivery partner upon repeated attempts. “I am sorry to tell you that I tried to get through to the delivery partner for the fifth time, but was not able to. Do I go ahead with the replacement?” wrote the representative. The Redditor also inquired if the delivery guy was en route to his residence. The executive’s reply was surprising: “No, the delivery partner accepted the order and ran away.”
