Prince Harry Won’t Reunite With Royal Family Unless Prince William Takes This Step

Sources close to Prince Harry told The Mirror that he will only rejoin the royal family if Prince William offers an apology. Currently, Harry is focused on making a successful life in the United States, where he lives with Meghan Markle and their two children in California. Although he is content with his decision to step down from royal duties, he is willing to assist with temporary royal responsibilities if requested by King Charles.

Harry’s return hinges on an apology from Prince William. Friends of Harry revealed that he understands his brother’s stance on his return. Prince William has reportedly stated that there is “zero chance” of Harry coming back after the publication of his memoir, *Spare*. In this memoir, Harry accused William and King Charles of being eager to relinquish their royal roles if given the opportunity.

The brothers have had no contact since the feud began and have remained silent even when in the same location. The last sighting of them together was at their uncle Lord Fellows’ funeral in Norfolk, where they did not speak to each other throughout the service.

With King Charles and the Princess of Wales on extended leave for cancer treatments, Harry has expressed willingness to support his family if called upon by the King. Despite this, he would still seek an apology from William before considering a return to royal duties.

The rift between Prince Harry and Prince William began when Harry and Meghan Markle stepped down from their royal roles to seek greater privacy and freedom. Their move to the US was intended for a fresh start, but it also led to public criticisms of the royal family. This ongoing criticism has exacerbated the conflict between the brothers, with Harry’s memoir further straining their relationship by making several allegations against William and other royal family members.
