A man dressed in a Spiderman costume is seen in the video navigating through knee-deep water in Bhiwandi. He is carrying a mop and attempting to unclog the drains as he swims across the floodwaters.
The video quickly went viral on social media as netizens cited the man ‘Mumbai’s own Spiderman. The video ignited memes and laughter across the internet.

Social media users commended the man for being the real-life superhero of Mumbai and taking a step towards unclogging drains. One user commented, “Spider-Man side business. Not a Spider-Man but municipality-man.” Another said, “Great power comes with great responsibility.”

The city has been hit by severe rainfall and extensive waterlogging. the IMD has issued a red alert for various cities, including Mumbai, Thane, and Palghar. The water level of the Mithi River has reached the danger mark. Emergency teams are working to unclog the drains.
