Paula Regan and her husband, Dave, were taking a walk along a quiet beach when they stumbled upon what appeared to be the skeletal remains of a mysterious creature. Speaking to South West News Service, Paula described the encounter as “the weirdest thing” she had ever seen.
“At first, I thought it was a piece of driftwood or maybe a dead seal because I could see these strange tail fin-like structures,” she said. “But when we got closer, we realized it was something else entirely. The head looked skeletal, but the back part was soft and squidgy.”
