The video, which was reportedly filmed secretly, captures a conversation between the women and a man who questions them about their addiction. The women admit they are unable to live without drugs and disclose the location where they purchased them, mentioning a rate of ₹200 for two sachets.

Originally posted on X by user Asif Shaikh, the video was captioned, “Selling and consuming drugs is easier than getting a vada pav, and the price is almost the same. Vada pav in Mumbai costs ₹190 for two pieces, and two sachets of drugs cost ₹200. Which one will you have?” Shaikh also tagged Mumbai Police, the Maharashtra CMO, NCB India, and Congress MLA Aslam Shaikh while specifying the location as “Malwani Gate No. 06.”
Mumbai Police Responds
Taking cognizance of the video, Mumbai Police assured that necessary action was being taken. Responding to the post, the official Mumbai Police account stated, “We have informed the Senior Officials of Malwani Police Station.”
