A dramatic brawl inside a Delhi Metro coach has gone viral on social media, showing a heated exchange between a man and female passengers over a seating issue. The man refused to vacate his seat for women until he reached closer to his destination, sparking a noisy verbal spat. While it remained unclear whether he occupied a ladies’ seat, he finally stood up only when his station was about to arrive.
In the viral video, the man sat comfortably despite the crowded metro, making loud announcements to grab the attention of fellow passengers. He dramatically addressed the women, saying, “Oh ladies, bhaiya ki insult ho rahi hai yahape.” One of the women playfully responded with, “Ohoooo.”

The metro coach erupted in laughter as the drama unfolded. A few seconds later, the man rose from his seat and walked toward the exit door. However, the women onboard sarcastically stopped him and asked him to remain seated instead of vacating his seat for someone else. The man justified his action, saying, “Madam, mera station aagaya. Meri marzi. Meri marzi.”
Annoyed by his antics, a woman responded, “You have created a ruckus in the entire coach. Stay calm for at least a little while.”
The video, originally shared by the X page ‘Ghar ke Kalesh,’ quickly went viral, triggering mixed reactions online. While some netizens felt he should have offered his seat as a courtesy, others defended his right to remain seated, arguing that he was not obligated to stand up for female passengers.
In public transport, many men voluntarily vacate their seats to accommodate women as a heartfelt gesture. However, this man’s decision to hold onto his seat until the last moment has ignited an online debate over metro etiquette and social norms.
