A clerk in the education department in Lakhisarai, identified as Kamal Ashraf, is facing serious accusations from a woman who alleges he pressured her to convert to Islam after engaging in a 13-year-long relationship with her under a false Hindu identity.
Woman Claims Deception and Exploitation
According to the woman, Ashraf befriended her in 2012 while posing as “Sumit.” At the time, she was a 16-year-old student at Janta Uchcha Vidyalaya Alinagar, where Ashraf was working. Recounting the beginning of the alleged ordeal, the woman stated, “In 2012, clerk Kamal Ashraf deceived me and trapped me in his love trap. At that time Ashraf was working in Janta Uchcha Vidyalaya Alinagar. At that time she was 16 years old and studied in the same school. Ashraf took her with him by luring her and kept her in many places like Jamui, Asansol-Munger. He kept sexually exploiting her continuously until she became an adult.”
Refusal to Marry and Religious Pressure
The woman further revealed that she became pregnant in 2014. “In 2014 when I became pregnant, I asked Ashraf to get an abortion done but he refused,” she said. In January 2015, she gave birth to a son. However, when she began pressing Ashraf, who she knew as Sumit, for marriage, his behavior allegedly took a disturbing turn. He revealed his real name and began pressuring her to convert to Islam. The woman claims Ashraf “started pressuring her to change her religion by revealing his real name as Kamal Ashraf. Ashraf stopped her from going to the temple.” She also alleges that she is now being pressured “to read namaz and eat beef.”
Private Photos Shared and Humiliating Demand
The situation reportedly escalated further in September 2024 when, according to the victim, “Ashraf started sharing her private photos with people.” In a shocking claim, the woman stated that on February 20, 2025, Ashraf brought three of his friends and made a horrifying demand: “he brought his 3 friends and said that first have physical relations with them, then I will marry you.”
The woman’s allegations paint a grim picture of deceit, exploitation, and religious coercion, raising serious questions about the conduct of the education department clerk. Authorities are yet to comment on the matter, but the woman’s accusations are likely to prompt a thorough investigation.
