A Delhi resident was over the moon after laying his hands on the brand new Cosmic Orange iPhone 17 from Apple’s new series that went on sale in India on September 19. The colour, which is a vibrant hue with closely resembles saffron, has already generated huge interest among Indian consumers.
The resident from Sangam Vihar said he had queued up since morning just to buy this model.

“I was standing in the line since morning, and I am looking forward to purchasing the iPhone of this colour. This saffron-coloured phone will be very famous in India. I am a Muslim, yet I am fond of this colour,” he informed news agency PTI.
Displaying the phone proudly, he said further, “I feel like I’ve won something,” and forecast that the new bold colour would “generate so much craze” here.
The individual, who had been using the iPhone 15 Pro Max earlier, added that the experience was all the more special now that he had upgraded to the new one in such a distinctive colour.
One of the most widely discussed additions to the new iPhone 17 series is undoubtedly the Cosmic Orange finish, with most technology lovers dubbing it as one of the most striking colours Apple has ever introduced.
The iPhone 17 lineup was launched on September 9 at the ‘Awe-Dropping’ launch event held at Apple Park’s Steve Jobs Theater in Cupertino. It was one of Apple’s largest launches ever, as it also brought the high-performance new iPhone 17 Pro models, the extremely thin iPhone Air – the thinnest iPhone yet – and updated AirPods Pro 3 and new Apple Watch series.
