A festive Holi celebration turned into a tragic incident in Bengaluru’s Anekal suburb after a violent brawl broke out among a group of intoxicated men, resulting in the deaths of three individuals.
Drunken Brawl Over Comments on Woman Turns Fatal
According to police reports, six laborers from the same village in Bihar were celebrating Holi at an under-construction apartment when an argument erupted. The dispute allegedly began after inappropriate remarks were made about a woman during the gathering. What started as a verbal altercation quickly escalated into a physical fight, with the men using wooden sticks and iron rods to attack each other.
Three Found Dead, One Injured in Custody
When authorities arrived at the scene, they discovered three men lying in pools of blood. One body was found in the apartment passage, another inside a room, and the third outside the building. Two of the deceased have been identified as Ansu (22) and Radhe Shyam (23), while the identity of the third victim remains unknown.
Among the remaining three individuals involved, one injured person has been taken into police custody, while law enforcement officials have launched a search operation to apprehend the other two suspects.
Police Investigation Underway
The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the incident. Authorities are questioning the survivor to determine the full sequence of events and establish any potential premeditated motives behind the attack.
